Multiple income streams in 2019 is not a bad thing.
- or maybe $1000
In 2019 you now have options on a rainy financial day. The story in the video is amazing. Watch it if you have the time.
Here are the basics you need to drive for Lyft.
You must be at least 21 and own an iPhone or Android phone. As part of our approval process, you’ll undergo a DMV check, plus a national and county background check. This will require a Social Security number, in addition to an in-state driver’s license that is at least a year old.
Your car needs to have four external door handles and at least five total seat belts. You must be a covered party on your car’s in-state insurance, and have in-state license plates. They confirm all of that during your 19-point vehicle inspection.
Drivers get paid for every trip on a per minute and mile basis. Money is deposited into your account each week automatically, or you can cash out instantly with Express Pay.
Ride Challenges are personalized for every driver and are based on individual driving history. Because the offer is personalized to you, offers can vary depending on your prior activity.
- Not all drivers will receive a Ride Challenge offer each week.
Example Ride Challenge: Complete 10 rides between Monday 5 AM and Friday 6 AM to earn an extra $25.
Once you meet the requirements, the bonus will be available in your Earnings and eligible for Express Pay within one hour.
If you choose not to use Express Pay, you’ll receive the bonus in your next weekly deposit.
Streak Bonuses reward drivers for sticking with Lyft and accepting back-to-back rides.
- Note: Ride Challenges are not available to Express Drive users currently.
