Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

Sleeping Dogs: Donnie Yen (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, above) will star in Sleeping Dogs. It’s based on a popular video game which is set in Hong Kong and follows an undercover police officer who takes on the powerful criminal organization known as the Triads. [Deadline]

Tribeca Film Festival: More than 80 films have been announced for the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival, which will take place in New York from April 19-30. Competition titles include drama Aardvark, starring Jenny Slate, Zachary Quinto and Jon Hamm; cult thriller The Endless, directed by Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead (Spring); and family drama Flower, starring Zoey Deutch (Before I Fall). The Promise

The Promise Trailer: Oscar Isaac, Charlotte Le Bon and Christian Bale star in The Promise, directed by Terry George (Hotel Rwanda). It’s set in 1914, during the chaotic final days of the Ottoman Empire and follows a medical student (Isaac) who finds himself in a romantic rivalry with a photojournalist (Bale) for the affections of an artist (Le Bon).
