News Briefs: Jack Nicholson and Kristen Wiig to Star in ‘Toni Erdmann’ Remake

How Do You Know

Toni Erdmann: Jack Nicholson will star opposite Kristen Wiig in a new version of German comedy Toni Erdmann. The Academy Award-nominated original follows a father who tries to reconnect with his busy adult daughter. Reportedly, Nicholson saw the movie and enjoyed it so much that he suggested an English-language remake starring himself. It will be his first big-screen role since How Do You Know in 2010 (above).
