A Wrinkle in Time: Shooting has wrapped on Disney’s adaptation of A Wrinkle in Time, and director Ava DuVernay celebrated by tweeting goodbyes to stars Mindy Kaling, Reese Witherspoon, Oprah Winfrey, Andre Holland and the child actors, along with production photos. The one above seems to tease the tone of her adaptation of the classic Madeleine L’Engle young adult novel that we can look forward to seeing over a year from now, April 6, 2008. [Twitter]

Escape Plan 2: Sylvester Stallone is returning for a sequel to 2013’s Escape Plan, but this time he’s got a new and much younger former bodybuilder by his side. Dave Bautista, best known these days as Drax in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, has been cast in Escape Plan 2, which apparently won’t bring Arnold Schwarzenegger back for another clash of the ’80s action stars. Steven C. Miller, who worked with Bautista on Marauders, is directing this one, and production begins this spring. [THR]

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Clip: Speaking of Bautista and the Guardians of the Galaxy, here’s a funny new clip from the upcoming sequel. Bautista’s Drax acknowledges something too crass and personal about himself, while Peter and Rocket fight over who is the better pilot and should take the reigns of the Milano. Han and Chewie, they ain’t. We look forward to more ego-driven bickering when the movie hits theaters on May 5. [Heroic Hollywood]

Wonder Woman Trailer: Who is Wonder Woman? She’s Diana of Themyscira, daughter of Hippolyta, and we’re getting a hint of her back story in the latest trailer for the female-led superhero movie. We see young Diana learning from her mother (Connie Nielsen) about weapons that were gifted from the gods, training harder than any Amazon warrior before her. Then a an older Diana (Gal Gadot) uses the Bracelets of Submission in self defense against her trainer, General Antiope (Robin Wright). This entry into the DC Extended Universe hits theaters June 2.
