Movie News: ‘Wonder Woman 2’ Moves Up Release Date

Wonder Woman 2: Gal Gadot and director Patty Jenkins (above) will reunite for Wonder Woman 2, which will now arrive a bit earlier than expected. Are You Afraid of the Dark?: Anthology television series Are You Afraid of the Dark? aired on cable channel Nickelodeon for seven seasons in the 1990s, winning favor with both critics and viewers. Now Gary Dauberman, whose credits include the monster hit It (above), has been tapped to write a big-screen version. The Greatest Showman

A White Lie: Zendaya (Spider-Man: Homecoming; The Greatest Showman, above) will star in and produce A White Lie. Intended as a psychological thriller, it’s based on Karin Tanabe’s novel The Gilded Years, itself inspired by the true story of a light-skinned African-American woman who passed as white so she could attend an American college in the early 20th century. The Disaster Artist TV Spot: James Franco stars in a new TV spot for The Disaster Artist. He plays Tommy Wiseau, who made The Room, widely acknowledged as one of the most beloved, if not very good, movies of all time.
