Movie News: John Williams to Compose New Han Solo Theme

Solo: A Star Wars Story: John Williams (above) composed the Academy Award-winning musical score for the first Star Wars movie back in 1977 and has composed all the scores for the sequels and prequels to date, though Michael Giacchino stepped in for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and John Powell was announced last summer as composer for Solo: A Star Wars Story. Now, however, Williams will compose the theme music for Han Solo, while Powell will compose the other character themes and the balance of the score. Look for Solo in theaters on May 25. [Variety]

Star Wars: The Last Jedi: Mark Hamill, aka Luke Skywalker, revealed on social media that his children Nathan, Griffin and Chelsea all had cameos as members of the Resistance in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
