Movie News: Chiwetel Ejiofor Touted As Villain in ‘The Lion King’

The Lion King: Chiwetel Ejiofor (Doctor Strange, above) is in talks to join the cast of Disney’s live-action version of The Lion King. If things work out, he will voice the villainous Scar, who was voiced by Jeremy Irons in the animated original. Donald Glover, James Earl Jones and John Oliver are already confirmed to star. Christopher Robin

Christopher Robin: Hayley Atwell (Captain America: The First Avenger, above) has joined the cast of Christopher Robin. Ewan McGregor will star as Robin, the little boy in the Winnie the Pooh series, who is now grown up but sorely in need of a renewed sense of imagination. Atwell will portray his wife; Marc Forster (World War Z) will direct. [Variety]

First They Killed My Father Trailer: Based on a true story, First They Killed My Father recounts the horrors that author Loung Ung and many others suffered at the hands of the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia during the 1970s.
