The Electric State: Andy Muschietti (It, above) is in negotiations to direct a big-screen adaptation of The Electric State, an illustrated novel by Simon Stålenhag that is a “re-imagined low tech apocalyptic mid-90s vision of the American West.” Joe and Anthony Russo will produce the project, which will be adapted by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. John Wick: Chapter 2

Kill or Be Killed: Chad Stahelski (John Wick: Chapter 2) will direct Kill or Be Killed. Dan Casey will pen the screenplay, based on a comic book series written by Ed Brubaker, illustrated by Sean Phillips and published by Image Comics. The series revolves around a college student who is saved from committing suicide by a demon; in exchange, the student must kill one person every month or else be killed himself. [THR]
