Movies in which people are forced to torture or even murder others come along every now and then: think the Hunger Games or Saw franchises. The Belko Experiment, in theaters March 17, takes the concept to new heights — literally. In it, a mysterious voice comes over the loudspeaker in a high-rise building in Colombia to inform the employees that 30 of them must be killed in eight hours… by any means necessary. The movie stars some familiar faces: John C. McGinley, Michael Rooker and Tony Goldwyn, who plays the head of the company. It was written by James Gunn — yes, that James Gunn of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies.
In this clip, Goldwyn explains a little more about the plot and reveals that his character, with his military background and hard-nosed attitude, decides to take matters into his own hands.
